Buying iPads is the easy part. Creating a culture where technology genuinely accelerates learning is the real challenge facing modern schools.

Pedagogy First, Technology Second

The most common mistake schools make is leading with the device. "We are an iPad school" is a marketing slogan, not a pedagogical strategy. Instead, we should ask: "We are a school that values inquiry-based learning. How can iPads support that?"

The SAMR Model

We advocate for using the SAMR model (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, Redefinition) to evaluate tech usage. Moving from simply typing essays (Substitution) to connecting with experts worldwide (Redefinition) is where the value lies.
